Job Title: Chemistry Instructor - Full Time
Position Description : Full time probationary/tenure track position in the Chemistry Department which starts in the Fall 2006 semester. This 10 month assignment may include teaching a variety of chemistry courses and may consist of day and/or evening classes.
Salary and Benefits : $45,630 - $67,670. PhD Differential of $2,740 per academic year.
Salary will be determined by the candidate's proper placement on the Faculty Salary Schedule that is based on education and experience. Health benefits include medical dental and vision for the employee bad dependents.

Minimum Qualifications:
A. Master 's Degree in chemistry;
Or
B. Bachelor's in Chemistry and Master's in biochemistry, chemical engineering, chemical physics, physics, molecular biology, or geochemistry; or the equivalent.
Or
C. Possession of an appropriate valid California Community College Credential
authorizing service in chemistry.
Desirable Qualifications :
A.
Teaching experience in college and/or high school chemistry.
B.
Experience with the use and development of student laboratory technology, equipment and instrumentation.
