The Saludos Career Web--what is it?

The Saludos Web site was created in order to provide an Internet starting point for Hispanics seeking jobs and for employers seeking Hispanic, bilingual, college educated candidates. The site is an offshoot of the print magazine Saludos Hispanos, a national Hispanic career and employment journal.

Q: "Can you send me more information?

A: "We receive many requests for information about Internet job hunting resources, changing careers, and job listings. We answer all emails, and in order to quickly respond to such inquiries, we have put together the following resource pages that contain our favorite Internet resources:

• We do not currently operate a jobs mailing list, but do place all of our job listings in our National Job Listings area.
• We have collected links to regional and topic-specific employment resources on our Internet Employment Resource Guide.
• All of our Hispanic Internet resource reviews are collected in the Hispanic Resource Center.
• A selection of career articles are available in the Career Center.

We are trying to place all of our career-related information on the web to make it easily accessible to all of our users. If you have a question that is not answered on these pages or have suggestions about future career areas to cover, please feel free to send them to us. Our email address is info@saludos.com"

A: "The web is home to thousands of employment resources. We have included links to the sites we have visited that have the best concentration of job listings and career information. If you have started a new career or employment site that we do not have listed, please feel free to drop us a note with the site's name and URL and we will check it out an consider adding it.

We are happy to receive link suggestions for our Hispanic Resource Center. Please note however that we are looking for sites that are more than just "hotlists" that link to other sites--we are looking for sites that offer visitors a variety of information and resources.
