Dr. Juan D. Villarreal and the H.D.A. Foundation provides scholarships to Hispanic undergrads currently enrolled in an accredited dental school in Texas. Scholarships are in the amounts of $1,000 and $500.
And The Procter and Gamble Oral Care and H.D.A. Foundation awards numerous scholarships in amounts of $1,000 and $500. Applicants, accepted into an accredited dental, dental hygiene, dental assisting, or dental technician program, are judged on demonstration of scholastic achievement, community service, leadership skill, and commitment to improving health in the Hispanic community.

McNeil awards the Tylenol Brand Scholarship in conjunction with local retailers. Winners are selected on the basis of leadership in community and school activities, grade point average and intended focus on healthcare-related areas of study.
