AEP takes pride in working with local, regional and state economic development organizations to promote economic growth in our 11 state area, to bring new jobs and business to our communities. We provide information on available sites and buildings through our award-winning ProCure® system, along with community profiles and almost a full century of experience in the communities we serve.

AEP actively supports education activities in the communities in which we work. We also provide key economic development support in those communities. In addition, AEP's Supplier Diversity program's purpose is to increase the number of minority and women-owned business partnerships in our procurement of products and services.
