Trained professionals enjoy satisfying careers in blood banking and are supported by state and national organizations such as the California Blood Banking Society (CBBS) and the American Association of Blood Banks (AABB).  These groups provide members with educational updates and sponsor annual conventions and seminars to provide enrichment for various job functions needed to recruit, process, and deliver blood to our community's patients.
