This Sales Manager will lead a sales staff that will constantly prospect for customers in the small business community while providing excellent customer service to existing clients. Bachelor’s degree or related experience preferred. A minimum of six years’ progressively responsible advertising sales experience to include at least three years’ in a supervisory role also is required. A successful track record growing market revenue share with a proven record of developing and deploying strategic plans that have resulted in increased sales and profitability is necessary. The ability to meet revenue goals and create advertising strategies to target small business owners a must. Experience selling and / or managing a shopper product is required. Must be a proven leader of people who is able to build a strong team and alliances.
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation) with the ability to act as an influencer of suppliers, peers and other appropriate audiences. Strong managerial skills (selecting and developing talent, coaching and teambuilding) and the confidence to challenge the status quo in a professional manner are essential.

for a creative bilingual graphic artist. This artist will create display ads,
fliers and special sections. This person will work within an advertising team to
provide outstanding customer service; process ads prepared electronically by
clients, and ensure accurate production of these ads. This artistic candidate
will also communicate with internal and external customers to plan, organize and
prioritize workflow to meet team goals and deadlines.
The successful candidate will be proficient in Quark, Illustrator and PhotoShop. Proven knowledge of Mac, Microsoft Office, and the ability to work under deadline pressures are essential. Strong communication skills, ability to work well in a team atmosphere and excellent proofreading and accuracy skills will be vital in this position. A Vocational or Associates degree plus two years as an artist for a print media production is preferred. Production Artist I Metro The Arizona Republic, Arizona’s leading source for news and information currently has an opening for an experienced full-time Retail Production Artist in our Scottsdale facility.
The successful candidate will process ads prepared electronically by clients, and ensure accurate production of these ads. They will create classified and display ads, fliers and special sections. As a part of the Retail advertising team they will provide outstanding customer service to our clients and communicate with internal and external customers to plan, organize and prioritize workflow to meet team goals and deadlines.
The successful candidate will have a Vocational or Associates degree with a minimum of 2 years’ experience as an artist in print media production. They will have a demonstrated ability to work well under deadline pressures, and be proficient in Macintosh OS9 & OSX using QuarkXPress 4+, Adobe Illustrator 10+, Adobe PhotoShop 7+ and Adobe Acrobat 4+. High school diploma or GED is required.
A test will be administered to verify this skillset. Strong communication skills, the ability to work well as a member of a team, excellent proofreading and accuracy skills is vital in this position. Previous newspaper experience is a plus.

OUTSIDE SALES ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE - KEYS We have an immediate sales opportunity for an Outside Sales Executive - Keys. In this position you will sell to retail customers, identify and develop new prospects to increase market share, provide exceptional customer service and work closely within a team environment to achieve goals. You will analyze customers’ needs and sell customized advertising solutions that meet and exceed our customer’s expectations. The executive will be a seasoned sales professional, with proven outside sales abilities and cold-calling skills. The successful candidate will build new client bases and maintain existing accounts to make goal. Must be able to work flexible hours and be active in related industry groups. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment. They will make compelling sales presentations to our retail customers; have proven negotiation skills, as well as the ability to build client relationships that meet and exceed customer expectations. Candidates will have two years’ experience in advertising sales. Previous experience working with large accounts and a bachelor’s degree in Advertising or Marketing is preferred.
