Austin Community College provides access to high-quality education at affordable tuition rates. As one of only 50 community college districts in Texas, ACC offers university transfer curriculum, technical certificate programs, two-year associate’s degrees, basic skills education, and a highly diverse continuing education program. 

ACC was founded in 1973 as part of the Austin Independent School District. Today, the college functions as an independent institution and operates six campuses throughout Greater Austin as well as 40 other locations in ACC’s service area.
