SENIOR VOCATIONAL CLINICAL CASE MANAGER - Manhattan
Job Description:
Provides direct vocational rehab and case management services to clients and families. Orients
new staff to Rehab program/position and fi eldwork. Reviews new cases and facilitates case
record reviews.
Qualifi cations:
Requires a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. CRC or eligible required. Minimum of
three years of experience in human services, vocational rehabilitation background.
COORDINATOR OF COTA SERVICES- Brooklyn
Job Description:
Coordinates/oversees a designated group of patients being treated by assigned Certifi ed Occupational
Therapy Assistants (C.O.T.A.). Provides appropriate therapy evaluations, treatments and
modalities.
Qualifi cations:
Licensure: New York State License and current registration in Occupational Therapy, required.
Registered with the American Occupational Therapy Association, required. Valid driver’s license,
required. Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from a program approved
by the NY State department of Education -OR- Graduate Certifi cate in Occupational Therapy
from a college or university whose program is registered by the State Education Department or accredited
by the a national accreditation Agency. Experience: Minimum of two years as an Occupational
Therapist and a minimum of one year supervisory experience supervising COTA’s, required.
OPERATING/SYSTEMS SPECIALIST
Job Description:
Be part of a core team leading the effort to design systems solutions, test and apply software;
develop training and rollout throughout the fi ve regions in New York City. In this role, you will also be
responsible for business process re-design and project management to support the implementation
and integration of care management and managed care systems. You will also serve as a technical
liaison to ensure that development efforts are compatible with clinical system requirements.
Qualifi cations:
Master’s degree in Public Health, Business, Public Administration or related fi eld preferred. Minimum
of 7 years business analyst experience in healthcare IT and/or operations, including experience
in a team lead role and systems project management. Strong analytical, organizational and communication
skills also required.
SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGISTS
Job Description:
Provides speech language pathology services to patients in collaboration with the health care team
consistent with VNSNY Home Care Policies.
Qualifi cations:
Licensure: License and current registration to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in New
York State required. Valid driver’s license may be required, as determined by operational/regional
needs. Education: Certifi cate of Clinical Competence to practice speech therapy from a NYS-approved
program, required. Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology required. Bilingual skills
may be required, as determined by operational needs.

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPISTS

and the Rehabilitation Department policies/procedures.
