The Waukegan Police Department is accepting applications for police officers. starting salary $40,713.00. Increases to $47,647.00 after 1 year. Excellent benefits and retirement package. Prior police certification and experience salary up to $56,620.00

No residency requirement.

Applicants Must:

- be able to successfully pass a   physical fitness test, written   examination, psychological   screening, medical and drug test,   extensive personal interview and   background examination.

- be a United States Citizen

- be at least 21 and less than 38 years   of age at time of written exam.

- have a high school diploma or   equivalent education.

- have a valid driver's license.

- be of good moral character.
