Our Early Intervention program is currently seeking an Administrative Support Coordinator to provide receptionist, referral, and data entry support.
As the Administrative Support Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
- Protecting the rights and dignities of individuals with developmental disabilities and extending these rights and dignities to family members or guardians
- Collecting referral information through various channels such as voicemail, phone conversations, or email
- Assisting in the coordination of family transitions from external Early Intervention agencies or other EI stakeholders which may include in state and out of state families
- Abiding by the Rhode Island Early Intervention Competencies
- Conducting thorough research utilizing the Statewide electronic medical record platform to ensure children are not enrolled elsewhere, ensuring accuracy in case assignments
- Performing receptionist duties, including answering phones, greeting visitors, and communicating with appropriate staff members
- Collaborating with the Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) to obtain necessary documentation for cases
- Supporting the EI Director in assigning cases to service coordinators and communicating reasons for referral
- Assisting with caseload management by reviewing staff caseloads in order to assign new cases
- Collaborating with Data Entry Specialist to ensure the accuracy of information for proper billing and reimbursement
- Initiating the appropriate correspondence, such as 10-day letters and/or Thank You letters to referral source if families are unreachable
- Performing other duties as directed by the supervisor related to the organization’s mission, goals, and operations
